This study is testing a new way to treat hip or knee joint infections caused by a common germ called Staphylococcus aureus. It's looking at whether using 'phage therapy' – a type of helpful virus – can safely and effectively clear these infections, especially when combined with a procedure to clean the joint.

PhagoDAIR I : A Pilot, Multicenter, Randomized, Non Comparative, Double-Blind Study of Phage Therapy in Patients with Hip or Knee Prosthetic Joint Infection due to Staphylococcus aureus Treated with DAIR and Antibiotic Therapy.
This study looks at a new treatment called 'phage therapy' for hip or knee joint infections caused by *Staphylococcus aureus* (a common germ). It explores if adding phages to standard treatment (cleaning the joint and antibiotics) helps control the infection better.
