Diaphragm Atrophy and Dysfunction in Mechanical Ventilation

This study looks at how mechanical breathing machines affect a muscle called the diaphragm. We want to understand how quickly the diaphragm can become weak and if it gets stronger again after the machine is stopped. This could help us better care for patients.
