Safety of oral micronized progesterone versus norethisterone acetate in continuous combination with oral estrogen as menopausal hormone therapy – a double-blind randomized study- PROBES study (Progesterone Breast Endometrial Safety study)
This study compares two hormone treatments for menopause symptoms to see which is safer for breast and womb health. It checks if Utrogestan or norethisterone acetate, when taken with oestrogen, affects breast density and the womb lining differently.
