Glutamate infusion for prevention of Acute Kidney Injury in surgery for ischemic heart disease: (GLUTAMICS III = GLUTAmate for Metabolic Intervention in Coronary Surgery III)

This study is looking at whether a special drip fluid, called L-glutamic acid, can help prevent kidney problems after heart bypass surgery. It focuses on adults having this surgery who don't have diabetes and are at risk of kidney injury.
