Immediate post-surgical Botulinum toxin injections to prevent dystrophic Scars after sternotomy : a placebo-controlled randomized clinical trial - BotuCiSter

This study looks at whether a Botox injection given right after heart surgery (a sternotomy) can help reduce the appearance of scars. Half the scar gets Botox, and the other half gets a non-active solution, to see which looks better after 6 months.
