SPironolactONe for the maintenance of Sinus Rhythm in hypertensive patients with atrial fibrillation and preserved left ventricular ejection fraction: a Prospective Randomized Open Blinded End-point (PROBE) multicenter study (SPONSoR study).

This study looks at whether a medicine called spironolactone can help people with high blood pressure and an irregular heartbeat (atrial fibrillation) stay in a normal heart rhythm. It checks how well spironolactone works over 12 months in preventing their irregular heartbeat from coming back.
