Exploring the effects of identifying abnormal air flow between lung areas in patients with COPD, using hyperpolarised xenon MRI

This study looks at a new MRI scan using xenon gas for people with COPD who are considered for a lung treatment. It aims to see if this scan can better identify who will benefit from the treatment by checking for hidden airflow in the lungs. This could improve how we treat COPD.
