Randomized Trial of TAVI vs. SAVR in Patients With Severe Aortic Valve Stenosis at Low to Intermediate Risk of Mortality
This study compares two ways to fix a narrowed heart valve: TAVI (a keyhole procedure) and SAVR (open-heart surgery). It's for people with severe narrowing who are considered low to medium risk for surgery. The aim is to see if TAVI is just as safe and effective as SAVR.
