Low Dose Trimethoprim-Sulfamethoxazole for the Treatment of Pneumocystis Jirovecii Pneumonia

This study is looking at whether a lower dose of a common medicine (trimethoprim-sulfamethoxazole) for a lung infection called Pneumocystis pneumonia (PCP) is as effective and causes fewer side effects than the usual dose. PCP mainly affects people with weakened immune systems.
