A phase I, randomized, double-blind, placebo-controlled, two-way cross-over, multiple dose study to evaluate the pharmacodynamic effects of TRV045 on the cortical excitability in healthy male adults
This early-stage study looks at a new drug called TRV045 for epilepsy. It's testing how the drug affects brain activity in healthy men to see if it could be a useful treatment in the future. Participants will receive either the drug or a dummy pill.

A phase I, randomized, double-blind, placebo-controlled, four-way cross-over study to evaluate the analgesic effects of TRV045 in healthy adults
This study is testing a new medicine, TRV045, to see if it can help with pain. It's a very early study in healthy adults, not patients, to understand how the medicine works in the body and if it's safe. Researchers are using a special light to create a small, temporary sunburn to measure pain.
