Inflammation During ECMO Therapy and ECMO Weaning

This study looks at the best way to take patients off life support called ECMO and a breathing machine (ventilator) when they have severe lung problems. We're comparing two ways: taking them off the ventilator first, or off ECMO first, to see which causes less inflammation and helps lungs heal better.
