Breast-Conserving Surgery and Whole-Breast Radiation Therapy With or Without Additional Radiation Therapy to the Tumor in Treating Women With Ductal Carcinoma in Situ (BONBIS)

This study looks at treating a very early form of breast cancer called ductal carcinoma in situ (DCIS). After surgery, some women receive standard radiation, while others get standard radiation plus a small extra dose to the area where the tumour was. Scientists want to see which approach works best.
