Study: Tea(m)Time - Strengthening the Team Resilience of Hospital Staff Through the Tea(m)Time Intervention
Are you a hospital worker? This study is exploring a new programme called Tea(m)Time. It's designed to help hospital teams deal with stress better and build stronger connections with each other. We know that working in hospitals can be tough, and many programmes focus on helping individuals. But this study is different – it looks at how supporting whole teams can make a difference. The Tea(m)Time programme helps identify workplace stressors and then works to boost team resilience. We want to understand what makes Tea(m)Time work well, what challenges it faces, and how it helps teams become more resilient. Participants will be asked questions at three different times to track their progress.
At a glance
What is this study about?
Working in hospitals can be very demanding and stressful, and it's common for staff to feel the pressure. This can sometimes lead to stress that affects their well-being. To help with this, many programmes have been created to support hospital workers. While some of these programmes focus on helping individuals cope with stress, this particular study is taking a different approach by looking at how entire teams can become stronger and more resilient together.
The study is focusing on a new programme called Tea(m)Time. This programme has two main goals: first, it helps teams understand and identify the things in their workplace that cause stress. Second, it works on building up the team's ability to bounce back from difficult situations and support each other. Think of it like making a team stronger and more connected so they can face challenges together.
The main aim of this research is to see how well the Tea(m)Time programme works. We want to find out what helps it succeed and what might make it more difficult to put into practice. By understanding these things, we can learn valuable lessons about how to best support hospital teams and help them stay strong and healthy in their vital work.
