Acupuncture may or may not help with Oesophageal Achalasia

Posted , 1 user is following.

I was diagnosed by my GI doctor last week that I have early achalasia. Since I do not want Botox treatment, the doctor had asked me to consider POEM. I was very hesitant since the surgery had to be done about 3 hours away. I started to google info on the web. Surgery will be my last resort. I discussed my issue with my acupunturist and she said acupuncture may help. Everybody's situation is different. I just want to share this with this community in case you are looking for alternative treatment. I started my acupunture today. It may take a long time but if it helps then it is worth it.
