I have picked my tablets up from the chemist this morning I am trying to work out the best time to start taking them I am on night shift at the moment but off from tomorrow night for a week I am thinking to start when I am away from work might be best did you have any bad side effects when you first started to take orlistat due to the fat already in your system?

    Hi sue

For me personally they took a while to work, first week I wondered if they were actually doing anything but when they started to work I had to stop pushing the boundaries lol. I don't know if it's the same for everyone though. Welcome to the fat busting club 😁

Stick with it and I'm sure it will happen. I'm losing slowly but surely and reading some of the stories on here fill me with lots of hope. I lost a few stone 3 years ago with SW but then packed up smoking and it all piled back on and some more! SW just wasn't working for me this time so hoping and praying this will.

I've just started my 2nd month on these pills and I've only lost 4lb so far but my body looks and feels different if that makes sense so I'm sure something is happening. I'm sticking with it long as I can.
