Burning sensation in lower abdomen

Hi, I have more and more cramps after certain foods that i cannot pin down to any one thing and although very occasional diarrhea, I am usually constipated. Colonoscopy and endoscopy are clear. My main concern is I get a hot (almost like a fermenting) sensation in my lower bowel, that feels as if it would be eased if I passed wind or had a bowel movement which sometimes happens but not always. When it get really bad it makes me feel nauseous and it is worse if my bladder full. It goes on for days and I'm feeling so depressed because of it. I know getting upset and anxious because of it doesn't help but I am so fed up. I have had similar in the past but not this bad. Doctors don't know what to say when i explain it as if all in my mind!

hi jan, it sounds painful! You poor thing! I had ibsc. Most people on here speak of ibsd. I only coped with this using laxatives, I had fybogel, it eases the bowel and softens it so going to the toilet is less painful.... As for the heat it could be the reaction of your bowel because you're bunged up. See your doctor and if you get a chance in the mean time try some food to soften your bowel, so when you do go it's less painful. Good luck, push your doctor's otherwise they'll do nothing.
