Cervical Rib Removal

I'm booked in on the 30th October for my cervical rib to be removed. I'll be off work for a few weeks, is there financial help you can get as I'll only get SSP ? And also how was recovery ?

    I would be interested in any response also. Same boat. I keep searching for info but going round in circles and find it embarrassing asking.

    i have had both of my cervical ribs removed  the left in 2000 and the right  in 2004  2006 2009  yes the right regrow three times i then had surgery two more times on the right side because of scar tissue forming  but i am now fully recovered with no symtoms so it was worth it if you do have any problems (they are rare) get you case refered to standmore hospital in london under a guy called mr marco sinise he is the best  do not be put off i is worth having this surgery  robo 07837407513
