Circular tender bone at the bottom of both ribs.

I noticed a while back that I have a circular bone at the bottom of both of my ribs and when I touch it it is very sensitive and tender. I thought it was strange and searched up what bone it is out of curiosity and I can't find anything that explains what it is. My health anxiety makes it play on my mind everyday. The fact that I have it on both sides makes me feel a bit better but I don't know why it hurts to touch. The only explanation I could think of is that I have floating ribs and I'm touching the tip of them.
