hi, this is me on 5th week of 20mgs i think, this time round it is not plain sailing for some reason, very anxious today, knowing fullwell that 1st time on this i needed a 40mg to get me sorted out, maybe i need to go back see the doctor sooner rather than later. having profuse sweating episodes this time round, although that maybe a common cold symptom with change in the weather, but often my head, neck, face is running with sweat, quite uncomfortable, anybody else have that? panic attacks more frequent, also perhaps because deep down i reckon i need 40mgs to calm me to where life is acceptable again. thanks for reading

    Hi David!

Sorry your having such a hard time. I had completely different side effects the second time I went on fluoxetine as well. sad I've been on them over 6 months and still haven't made it back to myself like last time. Hopefully everything evens out soon for you!

Hi, David. You are still very early on. My side effects lasted for months. I would get really hot, too. I also got increased anxiety. These are very common symptoms. I went up to 40mg and you do usually get increased symptoms when you go up. If it took 40mg for you last time, then it probably will again. This is a good place to talk. Please keep us up to date on how you are getting on.
