ganglion 4 life. what next? anyone else ?

Posted , 6 users are following.

mri, x-rays and wrist specialist concluded my ganglions is inoperable due to it growing the wrong way and being highly focused in the area of nerve and tendons - i.e they say surgery is too risky.

currently i cannot use the hand for anything that puts any weight on it at all (picking up a kettle is too much).

i'm struggling to swallow the 'end of the medical road' advise to 'become left handed' or give up on any activities i used to do. i also cant seem to grasp (excuse the pun) the concept that what is classed as a minor (ignore it and it'll go away)  medical problem has somehow in my case become a 'for the rest of your life disability'.

Anyone out there who's in a similar position and what did you do?

Right there with ya! I have them in both wrists and I am so fearful reading your posts becuase I am scared of the day I may loose grip in both hands. I am a crafter and have bartended and no longer enjoy either activity like I used to. Due to the physical pain of my cyst agoraphobia has taken over my life.

Have you tired any holistic medicine or any wacky foreign treatments?

A friend from Guatemala claims she has a cure, when she tells me more about it would you like me to share it?

i know the pain as i have it in my right wrist and i had it operated and instead of it getting better i feel it has become worst. refrain from getting operation try to get physiotherapy or you can try homeopathy medicines it has shown promising results.

Hi, Mark00413. I hope you are better.

I had ganglion more then 2 years on my wrist, and it disappeared this month. First it became soft, and then unnoticeable. I do not know why it happened, but I changed my diet two months ago. It is low carb diet (keto) with fasting. Also I did not eat avocado before - and started to eat them during recent two months. I do not know whether disappearance of this ganglion is connected to the change in diet or something else.
