(possible) TMI - Yellow Coloration

Diagnosed with post-infections IBS after a clear colonoscopy several weeks ago. If I stick with a fairly bland diet, can usually manage the condition fairly well but do find occasionally that my stools will be a little lighter and will have yellow on the tiolet paper after wiping.
Have a follow-up with my GI in a few weeks but this has me concerned. Could it simply be diet related or should I be worried about my pancrease and/or gall bladder as well?

Change of diet can change your stools and so can IBS. The yellow stuff on the toilet paper could be mucus which is also common with IBS. If your gallbladder and pancreas have been checked and come back clear, you have norhing to worry about. Trust and accept your doctor's diagnosis and do not worry. Anxiety will make your symptoms worse. My IBS diagnosis got rid of my anxiety.

I know, was just seeing if someone had experienced similar, etc.
I'll be speaking with my GI at my appointment in a few weeks and go from there.

Yellow stool is often due to fats in your diet. When the stool passes too quickly the fats don't get digested properly so give the stool a lighter and more yellow colour

I don't think I am eating too many fats but will be better about checking the content of my diet.

It's not that you're eating too much fat. It's just fat in general. It only changes the colour of your stool if it hasn't been digested properly, which often happens in ibs. It's nothing to worry about.
