Constant infections

Hi does anyone else get constant infections I've had one thing after another since just before Xmas does ibs compromise your immune system!! I've had chest infection ear infection a heavy cold that's lasted 3 wk then laryngitis today I've started coughing again! Any help would be appretiated

    If I was you I would look into chronic fatigue syndrome and fibromyalgia. Ibs is often a symptom of them and they can affect your immune system.

    I think when your body is dealing with a lot of pain, all its energy goes to coping with this strain and it therefore has less resources to fight infection.  However, everyone is different.  I found I caught multiple colds before I got IBS.  I think in my case, my immune system was compromised before my bowel woes and therefore let IBS in.

    bacteria or virus? healthy immune system..it may be due to weather change.. the body can't cope up or adapt... eat healthy and choose your food wisely..hope you'll have a check up.. be happy... light and love and be with positive people..the'yy boost your immune system and make you laugh always.. smile
