I was diagnosed with type 2 diabetes in May this year.

I would like information and to be able to share with others who have diabetes

    This is a good site to answers to any questions you wish to ask, also I would suggest you become a member of diabetes uk as they have very good tips and recipes to try out, May I ask your age also what medication you have been put on

      Thanks for reply. I am 66 in a couple of weeks time.

      Ii have been put on metformin (slow release) tablets.

      I have also been put on antistatin.

      I will consider being a member of diabetes UK.

    Your doctor would be the FIRST place you should ask this question.  Specific issues this forum may be able to help. The second place is the internet and start reading.

    I have Big D for more than 10 years and I find new information almost every day.

      Thanks for reply. My GP was the one who gave me the diagnosis of Diabetes, so I am in contact with him.

      I realise it is something I am going to have to live with and to be honest it could be a lot worse.
