Experiences after excision of skin tag - hemorrhoidectomy

Yesterday I had an anal skin tag removed. I was given cocodomal and sent on my way with basically no advice or information on what to expect.

I felt fine until today and now I'm scared to go to the loo. I just wondered if anyone else has experienced the operation just for a skin tag. I can't find any information on this type of skin tag removal. I didn't have any hemorrhoids removed but all the posts I see on recovery from this are scaring the life out of me!!

    hii! i just also had one removed 2 weeks ago and my doctor also gave me NO guidance i have been lost too, and noone responds to me on here and any of the discussions ive tried.. how are you? maybe we can talk about our experiences and see if they match so it feels normal
