Hello, im 15, female and I have recently found out I have an overactive thyroid but its been caught early. Does anybody know if it can quickly become worse? Thank you

    could you tell us how do you discover the condition? what symptom did u have??With regards to your question I think the deterioration of  the disease vary from person to another ,but overall,it has good prognosis and good outcome with treatment.So good luck .tell us how will you get on with the treatment .Hopefully every thing goes well with u.

      I discorved this by having a blood test as we thought i was enemic. I was always very tired, shaky, upset tummys and not myself. Ok thankyou.

    I'm 18 years old and I have hypothyroid I found out about it when I was 15/16 years old

    Yes, increased in thyroid level over a period may cause serious issues on body’s hormonal imbalance, which might be cause obesity or slimness which may lead to multiple organ disease.
