I need a diet plan

I'm 34 years old married and been diagnosed with diabetes 2 2 years ago. Will I get type 1 . Thanks

    It all depends on well you are managing your sugar levels, you won't get type 1 but if your sugars are completely out of control they will put you on insulin injections your sugar levels have to be between 4-7

    If you are in doubt ask your diabetic specialist or the diabetic clinic at your hospital are you in the uk

    Hi. try to check what you eat and check labels on foods to make sure that you only eat things with a maximum of 5% sugar per serving. If you like cakes try baking them yourself and use Canderel instead of sugar. I have just been told after 10 years of type 2 that I am to start using an injection instead of Gliclazide in November. That news I did not want to hear but my blood was showing from 6.5 - 8.5 in the mornings so hopefully this will help keep it stable.
