Jock itch

Currently being treated for jock itch, although starting to wonder if it's bacterial instead because now on oral terbinafine after 2 failed treatments with canesten and daktacort.

The worst part is the fear of contaminating things and passing it to my wife/dog.

How 'mobile' for wont of a better word are the spores?

For example, when removing a duvet cover what do I do with the duvet underneath? I can't put it on the sheet below as that is going to be stripped too. Are spores falling off my clothes?

It's mentally exhausting, so any advice would be gratefully received...I do not want to be reinfected or to spread it elsewhere.
