Just received my diabetic eye test appointment after 2 years 1month late! Why?

Ive just received my diabetic eye appointment after 2 years 1 month. previously Ive always had my diabetic eye test once a year. I contacted my local optiption why this was with little help from her. I just found about these changes 6-8 weeks ago online. Everything in general seems to be getting worse to me in the NHS. Even when this Covid Pandemic is over, it looks as though it will still be very difficult to see your doctor face to face and i cant even get an appointment with my own dentists even though ive got loose teeth in my gums which ive had for over 12 months, unless i go private.
