Mirtazapine Weight gain

Hi all,

I've been off Mirtazapine for around 5 months now.

I have always been quite skinny and slim and able to eat anything I like. nothing ever put any weight on me.

once i went on mirtazapine i put weight around my stomach area very fast, within a couple months. it 100% affected my metabolism. it didnt really bother me at first as i knew it was the medication and i wouldnt be on forever.

from what i had read i believed it would come of quite fast once i was off the medication but that is not the case. i have been off 5 months and the weight has not gone.

any experience with this?

its not that bad but i am quite a logical person and i know mirtazapine changed my physique and metabolism but i would have thought 5 months down the line any affect on my metabolism would have gone but clearly that is not the case.

any experience appreciated.
