No offer yet but I'm scared about the vaccine already!

Hi!

I've just signed up here because my anxiety is through the roof at the moment.

I'm 47, so I'm not expecting an offer of the Covid19 vaccine just yet but already I'm scared about the all process.

I don't know whether to accept or not, I'm scared of the injection and I'm very anxious about the vaccine too! I'm more scared about this than the virus itself!

I'm trying to distract myself with minimal effect as all I'm thinking about is needles going in me and possible side effects.

I've felt very faint in the past where needles are concerned be it for vaccines or blood tests and I'm getting anxious now just writing about it.

Is anyone else feeling the same or similar?

    Just be relaxed, i am sure the vaccine is safe, its been tested multiples times before it is administered. I am taking the vaccine to multiple the chance of actually working a good job. We do not know how long COVID19 will be with us. Some say for years to come. I wasnt going to have the vaccine, but if offered i will take it, to maximise safety.
