same symptoms as a bariatric patient

I am s bariatric patient suffering from the same chest pain after eating. This has been constantly increasing since I had my surgery. They finally got the results of the barium swallow which showed that there is a blockage between the ring and my new stomach. Not sure if I have the same diagnosis but I am having the same symptoms. Not sure of the next step. Laverne Smith Orjiako

You would need to consult the surgeon about the results of the barium swallow test, and whether some minor adjustment of the surgery might need to be done (probably with an endoscope lipped don yout throat).

It all depends on the cause of your chest pain, doesn't it.   You will have to eat very small amounts but at frequent intervals anyway and eating too much at once might be the cause of your paineven though it might be very different quantities to what you had before.  See if that makes a difference.

This surgery creates a lot of changes in your body that are difficult to cope with, but the doctors need to diagnose the exact cause of the pain.

I have a gi appointment in July. Hopefully the doctor can open the blockage without changing the fobie pouch surgery I have for losing weight.

It does sound like something for the surgeon to investigate and potentially adjust.   One option may be to consult the surgeon's secretary / specialist nurse in advance to describe the problems you are having as it sounds like ot mght be more than a routine follow-up for them.
