I have genital herpes 2 and I am in a very great relationship with the man of my dreams. We are comfortable enough with one another to even not use protection and give each other oral. I know that this isn't fir everyone but we love eachother. Their are a lot of understanding people in this world. I find its best for me to just tell them in the very beginning before any feelings start to develop. It just makes it easier if I get rejected but I haven't been rejected yet. I have it for 2years

I agree with letting someone know first before any deep feelings get involved. but at the same time, it's kinda nerve-wrecking to just up and say that to someone in a conversation.

I also have gh 1 and in a relationship with the guy who gave it to me. He did not know he had it and apologize for it constantly. With reading everyone stories on here it gives me hope that if this relationship were not to work out, I have confidence in finding love again. I may be rejected but life goes on. You'll be okay read some of the stories on here it's helped me alot

that was my exact case, but i did not stay with the guy because he was very insecure and had issues that i was not willing to put up with. but I agree with what you're saying about how life goes on. I will definitely continue to read the stories posted on here. Thanks !
