-17 eye sight with implanted lenses

Hi there

I have -17 eye sight in both eyes. i got implanted lenses to correct this when i was around 23 now am 34, my eye sight seems to be getting worse and glasses are only making my eye sight a little better can only just drive!! i am worried that it will get worse and loose my driving license. just wondering if there is anything i could do or get done to help?!?

    Are you saying that your eyesight was -17 and you had interocular lenses to correct that vision? Now you are having some regression back to poor eyesight? You need to see an eye doctor to find out what is causing decreased vision. There could be some coating on the IOL that needs to be cleared, or maybe some changes with age, but only a professional doctor doing a thorough evaluation can determine the cause. Please see your eye doctor asap. I'm sure they'll be able to give you a better idea of what is going on. Good luck!
