Just over 5 months orif surgery. Broken tibia / fib with dislocation. 1 plate & 9 screws. I just started having a stinging sensation on the inside of my ankle by the incision.. It’s been all day today on & off. What is this? Anyone else have this?
Surgeon said that I might need to have HWR.. How do you know if it should be removed??

I'm only 9 weeks since surgery, plate, 8 screws, fibula fracture, dislocation, but I've been stinging and burning the entire time on the inside, and it's numb to the touch but still manages to burn - drives me insane. Doc says it's nerves, and there could be long term nerve damage. This is why I still take 1 pain med before bed, it hurts lots. S**t
