?anxiety or health/heart issue?

Hi all, I have sometimes random palpitations and my throat feels weird all the time. I had an endoscopy but they told me my oesophagus/larynx is fine. the EKG and echocardiogram came out fine too. I usually don't have problems sleeping but last night I couldn't, I began feeling hot, sweating, then started having tachycardia, shaking and my arms and legs were tingling too. Couldn't sleep for 4+ hours.

Is this anxiety?I wasn't thinking about anything.

sometimes we can have an underlying anxiety that we’re not even aware of and then all of a sudden we get these sensations. They’re not harmful when they’re due to anxiety.

Think about anything going on in your life that could be causing this. Work? Family? Friends? School? Etc. everything sounds like it’s OK with all your testing being normal.

But those sensations are very common with anxiety and stress. anxiety can pop up anytime in our life even when we are feeling OK. Practice relaxing your mind as much as you can. There’s some great anxiety and relaxation meditations on YouTube. They’ve helped me a lot. what’s really important is the way we react to the sensations. If we get scared and think about them all the time then they will happen all the more. I have a matter-of-fact attitude towards them and I found that when I do that they really decrease a lot . there are some great mindfulness breathing exercises that lower the heart rate when you were feeling the palpitations. Hopefully this won’t happen again. Have a great day
