(HELP). Anyone experience these symptoms (6 months mono)

hi,

im a 19 year old male that has been struggling with mono just over 6 months now. Im just not seeing the light at the end of the tunnel and have no clue what to do. Im feeling anxious, brain-fog, blurry vision and dizziness. I also get this feeling that the floor is sinking for a split second when i feel very anxious. i get very tired after dinner and when i drive the headlights of other cars look like stars. Ive been to 3 eye specialist and they have said there is nothing wrong with my eyes. Idk if this is dizziness but sometimes when i stare at something for too long i feel as if im still moving (like rocking on a boat) but goes away when i focus else where. Ive also had multiple blood test and the only thing that came up was positive for mono and low Vietnam d. i used to be very active, went to gym everyday, woke up early and was never tired. Can someone please help me figure out if this will ever end. I am over everything and i dont know what to do anymore.

    Hi Mo,

It is very common to have these strange symptoms for a very long period of time, it was a full year before I started to feel normal. The vitamin D supplements should help, but really it is only time that heals mono. You can read about people's experiences in these blog posts. It really helps to know that you are not alone almost everyone has normal blood tests and may strange symptoms lasting for a long period of time.

Hi mo! So sorry you have to deal with this horrible virus. I can really sympathize with you. You're not alone. Every symptom you have I've had plus many more. It's been about 10 months for me now. I have slight glimpses of normality here and there. Just know this virus is a LONG battle and try to relax and stay calm as much as possible. (I struggled awfully with this) if your blood tests are fine and only thing found is mono trust me when i say its going to do everything in its power to make you feel like its something else. If you have any questions feel free to pm me! Praying for your healing!
