'' HOW TO DEAL WITH THE EARLY STATE OF CM 1''

Hi Every one,

I am a recovered Chiarian...what I mean by recovered is that :

1. I am drug free

2. my quality Life is getting better each day

3. I am able to think properly

4. I feel more rejuvenated each day.

I did not think that I can achieve all of those, I used to cry each day..when I experienced the first state of my condition. I was stumbling, blacked -out, unable to control my bladder, I have got IBS, pain all over my body,, inbalance, horrendous headache, dizzyness, nouseating, tinggling in arms, feet, stomach ache, joint ache, neck pain..unable to walk, talk, sleep, think properly, it was horrendous, the more I took medicines the worst I could feel. Despite my strong willingness to recover..by using lots os neutral treatment, like massage, relfexology, chiro, osteo, changed of my life style (eating health, free from gluten etc) I ended up like vegetables, I finally given up (after several lumber punctured) and agreed to have surgery..but..I done lots of rading, research, joining this group had helped me a lot..keep moving, but be gentle..as your condition is quite serious..you could die because of that (my mother did) - hence YOU MUST LEARN AND ACCEPTED YOUR CONDITION, BY BEING GENTLE TO YOURSELF..AND PREPARING OR ASK YOU DOCTOR TO REFER YOU TO GET THE DECOMPRESSION, EVEN IF THEY  REFUSE..i FEEL CHIARI GETTING WORSE IF NOT REATED..DESPITE THE LESS SYMPTOM..

So, again my advice to you (base on my opinion) - take it easy, do lots of breathing exercise, lisgten to your body..(body tells you when you are tired / hungry/thirsty, stop working etc...avoid lifting more than 1 kgs/2 lts weight.

Be kind to yourself..telling yourself that you are going to be OK....learn, watch youtube, be active in this site..I learned a lot from here!!!. Soak your feet with sodium bicarbonate in warm water once a week (20 minutes) if you are by the beach, get some one to accompany you to deep in the sea for 30 minutes..summer is quite hot in the UK now..try to get the sun between 11-2 just for 20 minutes but do not use the lotion..vit D seems helping to ease the pressure..DONT FORGET AS I SAID KEEP MOVING...failing that..you really need your health care professional help to have decompression as soon as possible.....

Dear Cakal, of course, I am unsure if this site allowing you to do so...let see ..if you can email me yours..if they censor it ..its mean we are not allow to do so..I have no idea, other wise, are you living in the UK..I ve got my mob no as well..I fully understand how hard it is for patient who are on early state, I was there..and I have the worst I think..because I ended up as a housebound... funny enough..I just send xmas cards to all of my health care professionals who were there for me..and they are still here as well, one of the specialist rang me yesterday just to let me know that my latest MRI/SCan RESULT  looks OK, no blockage or anything..they are really amazing..I do not know what would I do without them..I keep giving them a feed back of how I am doing..I think they appreciate as well, I even wrote it down..(used to) what medicine did for me and the side effect..both my primary and secondary care professionals are fantastic, I am blessed, I suppose anywhere in the world, chiari is something that not lots of professionals know about ..so giving them back and get involved yourself in your health showing them your responsibility as well, so they take you seriously..they also greatful that you let them know the result of their treatment..
