"I'm 49, could this be PMR" update.

My doctor ordered 20 mg f prednisone a day and then I follow up with him next Thursday. He also referred me to Rheumatology "because you are obviously a unusually case". Not sure if he put it in as a stat referral or just regular. I think with my age and normal labs he is stumped. At least he is willing to try the prednisone. I really like it because you can communicate with him online. And he is good about answering. That way you don't have to deal with the receptionist and then the nurse only to pray that they get the message right. Well wish me luck with this trial. I sure hope it works.

Looks as though you have a GP who does people as well as medicine and who is ready to doubt the accepted diagnosis requirements.

Hope you get a clued up Rheumy, too.

Fingers crossed then - and hope the rest of your relationship with the GP and rheumy continues as well if it does work.

That is fantastic news. I wish our surgery used email. They are still very much in the Dark Ages.
