Yes, I have had the same feelings with my tongue tingling and sometimes face. Also anxiety with it. I just had an ablation done due to the continued bleeding. Today is 2nd day after. I still think it is definitely a shift in hormones causing it.Curious to see if others experience same:

Yes.. my period always has so many symptoms that come with it.Anxiety and exhaustion are right there for me too. At this time anything goes but keep track of your periods.. I was at the GYN and she was asking specifics and I just had vague answers.. But she did need me for an ultrasound which is good to find out what exactly is going on with these heavy periods.

    hi notsure,

im sorry you are going through this too. we sure got the the short stick in all this.

My anxiety at that time increased drastically. Though i started out with on and off burning skin and tongue it eventually never went away. I have burning mouth syndrome brought on by peri and burning skin mostly left side of face and body.

i now take carbamazepine for it. its an anti convulsive drug but it somehow works to stop it. it still breaks through the drug sometimes but it is more manageable. I am also on HRT patches and Duloxetine an antidepressant supposed to help in combination for pain but im trying to get off it.

I hope you get some relief soon. just know you're not alone.
