VINEGAR, VINEGAR AND MORE VINEGAR!!! You don't need to pay money to get rid of these things!! Listen up people, if you want to see quicker results just use vinegar to get rid of your awful warts or veruca/s!! Get either white wine vinear or apple cider vinegar, cotton wool balls and some duck tape. Break the cotton wool into smaller pieces (slightly larger than the veruca or wart itself) Soak these cotton wool pieces in vinegar and place directly over the veruca/s. Secure in place over night with plenty of duck tape. Do this every night. In the morning, remove the tape and shower as usual. Let the area dry up during the day and leave alone. After only a few days you will feel slight tenderness in the veruca area and you will notice that it changes colour, becoming darker. I think that this is because the veruca has absorbed the vinegar and the flesh is decaying and drying up. This is the only thing that has helped me with mine. Don't waste money on over the counter products-its a waste!! Don't have them cut out or frozen or lazered-off until youhave tried this for at least 2 weeks. I'm pretty sure this will be the most effective thing you've tried! And easy and natural and cheap. Try it!! Good luck!!! xoxox :ok:

the two on my foot are sooo much better now, not sure if they have gone or not yet. but after 7 weeks or so of using the acv. i let it dry out for 3 days, as it was getting painful, I left it alone not cutting it.
then last night i cut the whole thing off!!!! crazy. there's no black bits and it sooo comfortable to walk on now after nearly 9 bloody years

so the past 2 weeks.
5 days i used ACV on dampened cotton wool taped to the effected area with duct tape and secured with medical tape. i did not scrape or aggravate the area during this time. i replaced the cotton wool soaked vinegar 2 times daily to keep it potent. after 5 days i stopped and noticed a few of the verrucas going black. i then removed the ACV dressing and replaced this with duct tape and secured this with medical tape as duct tape tends to move about. again i did not aggravate the area at all in this time. when i took the tape off today there were 2 holes in my foot where some of the verrucas once were. one hole had 3 verrucas originally the other had 1.
the smaller and less clustered the verrucas the less it hurts. a while back i posted that i had around 40 and it f***ing knacked to have vinegar on it for even 1 day. now i do not have so many ( i will explain why in a moment) it was far less painful and i could go about my day quite normally even with the vinegar on.
so yes at one point i had around 40... one day i took the duct tape off and most seem to have shrunk and or vanished. i think this is mainly due to the use of vinegar and intervals of duct tape only while NOT cleaning or scraping the area during treatment. i would do the vinegar for a set amount of days then switch to duct tape only for a set number of days and then clean/scrape/dig at the area.
i hope this helps especially if anyone is struggling. i have tried everything bar banana skins.
freezing - did nothing apart from cause pain and im sure it made them worse.
the salicylic acid - BAD IDEA. if like me you have extremely sensitive skin do not use this at all. it didnt get infected but the whole area blistered over and oozed all the time. also no matter how much i used this and how aggressive i was it did not shift them at all and it hurt so much i couldnt walk for days or sleep.
nail varnish - for me this did nothing
silver nitrate - promising yes but can be painful. it creates a chemical burn. the reaction does not last long, i waited a day to peel the scab off. it did "eat away" at them a little but but one application is no where near enough if you have tons like me or a very deep one.
just duct tape - ok to start with but little to no effect if used alone for a long period of time.
home freezing kits - good as you can apply when ever you like but again painful and expensive and if you have loads i wouldnt bother. (i had a tiny verruca in the middle of my foot away from the rest that are on my heel. i used one application of home freeze kid and it went)
digging at it - OUCH id all ill say... oh and blood... lots of blood.
tea tree - nothing.
hand sanitizer - nothing
c-c-c-combo: duct tape, nail varnish, hand sanitizer - killed the skin and meant i could easily remove skin and keep on top of the issue of these things on my foot.
well this has been my experience so far.
maybe others have had different after all what works for some may not work for everyone.
i am going to carry on with ACV again on boxing day again and see what happens. right now its just taped up as i dont want to be uncomfortable for xmas as we are travelling a lot.

In desperation I found this forum. Ten days ago I started the ACV treatment. It is clearing them up beautifully. Yes it is painful but stick with it. The results are absolutely amazing!!! I can finally go for pedicures again!
So happy I found this thread.

Anything. I had just one night where it woke me up during the night as it throbbed but I was so determined to be rid of them. I am almost clear now and totally pain free. When I first applied the ACV I bet I could see almost 50 tiny black dots which I think were all verrucas. I have about 5 now. I am still applying ACV every day and filing away dead bits. I only taped a soaked cotton wool to my foot for one day and following this was the intense throbbing. After that I dabbed it every evening and every morning with a cotton bud dipped in ACV. It
Still did the trick for me. I hope you stick with it I am so happy with my results!!!!!

So in the past month or two its flared up causing me pain. My husband said Google a natural remedy and that's when I saw this article about apple vinegar which I just happened to have in the cupboard. First go at it last night. Woke up to what looked like an erupted volcano. After digging off the surrounding skin I can see 2 black dots. Wow! What I spent on 8 months of professional treatments I got further with overnight vinegar at home. Wish I'd seen this sooner. Foot quite sore but results already. I will continue with this method till it's gone. Thank you

I am very grateful to all of you who have posted their experiences and I'm comforted that it IS painful.. I was worried that I'd managed to infect it and had made matters worse
I have been removing the black bits with tweezers as I can't resist picking it. I now have a big hole in my foot. It's throbbing still. No more black bits tho...I'm going to carry on with ACV on little bits of cotton wool pushed right in to the hole! Holding it in with a plaster as have run out of duct tape.......
