VINEGAR, VINEGAR AND MORE VINEGAR!!! You don't need to pay money to get rid of these things!! Listen up people, if you want to see quicker results just use vinegar to get rid of your awful warts or veruca/s!! Get either white wine vinear or apple cider vinegar, cotton wool balls and some duck tape. Break the cotton wool into smaller pieces (slightly larger than the veruca or wart itself) Soak these cotton wool pieces in vinegar and place directly over the veruca/s. Secure in place over night with plenty of duck tape. Do this every night. In the morning, remove the tape and shower as usual. Let the area dry up during the day and leave alone. After only a few days you will feel slight tenderness in the veruca area and you will notice that it changes colour, becoming darker. I think that this is because the veruca has absorbed the vinegar and the flesh is decaying and drying up. This is the only thing that has helped me with mine. Don't waste money on over the counter products-its a waste!! Don't have them cut out or frozen or lazered-off until youhave tried this for at least 2 weeks. I'm pretty sure this will be the most effective thing you've tried! And easy and natural and cheap. Try it!! Good luck!!! xoxox :ok:

So after reading the entire thread, and first making the mistake of using cheap regular supermarket apple cider vinegar (extremely painful!) I went to the local organic shop and found Bragg's vinegar which is really not painful and seems even more effective.
I have had this verruca on the ball of my foot since I was about 13 I think. I am now 43 so that is a 30 year old enemy I'm fighting. I am going to win though.
I am using cut down cotton balls soaked in the vinegar and then held against the verruca with a waterproof plaster, then the entire space is covered with a much large tough fabric waterproof plaster (just supermarket fare but work very well).
This is where I am at now after about 5 days with the organic vinegar:

For the first 2-3 days I could only see what I thought was the main part of the verruca on the lower right of the area. Now this morning after having the vinegar on all night again (with a tight sock on to stop the plasters being moved in bed) I can see a much larger beast in the upper left area. Ugly - and painful!.
I have no idea how many more days I have to go with this but I am not stopping!
If anything I am going to up the pressure and wage all out jihad on that thing now I can see it!
I think I will only take the vinegar off to shower and then put it back on again as soon as my foot is properly dry.
If anyone who was won the war believes this isn't the right approach, please tell me!
Will report back soon with further updates.Â
Thanks guys

Thanks to everyone on this thread who recommended Apple Cider Vinegar - it's worked in less than 3 weeks!!! Â Amazing stuff - just used the basic supermarket version and yes it was extremely painful for the first three days but you can control that by taking a break from time to time. Â I had a couple of days where I didn't put it on as I could hardly walk, but I returned to it at nighttime instead. Â So I didn't give the verukka more than 12 hours without at least a few hours dose of ACV - like others I used a small ball if cotton wool soaked in ACV with duct tape to hold it in place.
Ive had this thing for over a year, I've gone through two tubes of bazuka and even tried bleach and burning with a match!!! Â The latter did burn the top off and unsurprisingly was extremely painful and I DO NOT recommend it but I was desperate and I've successfully burnt warts off my hand in the past like this (had basin of ice at hand!). Â But the verukka wasn't beaten until I tried the ACV - amazing stuff.
Thank you again to all who shared this secret - why don't Doctors tell you about it? Why do Boots Chemist tell you that Bazuka is guaranteed if you use it for 6 weeks?! ( yes that's exactly what I was told and it's wrong!) Because drug companies and Boots don't benefit from sales of Apple Cider Vinegar I guess.Â
As as another member posted - APPLE CIDER VINEGAR ROCKS

Admittedly, my first 4 to 6 weeks were a bit off and on and half hearted. Â I would use the ACV for a few days and rest a few days, some days I would forget blah blah blah... but even with this approach, the verrucca (which was around the size of a 1p piece and horrible and whitey yellow with dozens of black dots in) still shrunk about 10%.
It was then, as someone else in this thread said, I decided to go jihad on it's ass. EVERY night it got a soaking, no days off. I soaked for about 3 weeks, not even looking at it (as I hated looking at it) then after 3 weeks, it was time to shave with a blade and I litterally could not believe my eyes. Â It was about 80% gone.Â
And even after shaving, the usual black dots underneath were nowhere to be seen.
Another 3 weeks later of constant soaking every night and ....well..... check the pic.
See for your self what 6 weeks of ACV did to something that has plagued me for almost 3 years.

You can still just about see the outline of the dead and healing skin, THAT'S how big and nasty it was.
ACV really is some kind of miracle liquid !!
THANKS ACV !!! Â

MINE ARE ALMOST GONE! The worst clump I had has literally gone, the last of it came off this morning and there's clear pink skin underneath :D
Basically I had this verruca for about 8 years (stubborn bloody thing!!) so I literally can't believe it's gone, it's been a struggle! I really think it's all down to apple cider vinegar. I have been going to the chiropodist getting it frozen and between treatments soaking it every night and most days in vinegar. I think the combination of the two has got rid of it, but I think just using the vinegar would still do the job just may have taken a bit longer.Â
It's been painful and long, but it just takes perseverance - this really does work. If anyone is at their wits end like I was, don't give up! Keep soaking them in the vinegar as much as you can, if it gets too painful give it a break for a day and then start again. I thought mine would never go, it was so stubborn and I tried everything and it never worked.
I feel like crying I'm so happy!!! (Sad I know).
Don't give up hope people, this does work it just takes time.
Reply to me if you need any advice, I'd be happy to help

I've been using white wine vinegar on my single verucca (have had as long as I can remember and want it gone!!) for a few weeks now and though it would have gone by now. At first it went white and puffy and the centre got a little darker but it was as if it was dark under the skin, if that makes sense. So I left it for a few days and it turned black as the puffy-skin went back to normal. I scraped the black off using a disposable razor (but not very good quality, I've noticed) and it left pink skin with black dots. Since then, I've been repeating the process but the black dots are STILL there and it's been a good few weeks now! The skin still goes slightly puffy and white/ slightly yellow which I'm guessing is due to the vinegar, but there are still quite a few dots and you can still tell it's a verucca....Â
Any advice on how to proceed? Just keep going/ stop removing the skin/ do something different? I'm desperate

If you want my advice then it's just keep going and don't give up. Perseverance is key! I heard stories about chiropodists not helping, but although it may not have got rid of mine on it's own it definitely helped.
I had cryotherapy once a month, but about a week after I had it frozen I would cover it with cotton wool covered in ACV as often as I could day and night. The combination of the two is what killed mine I think.
Mine was SO stubborn too, so if mine can go then anyone's can. It covered my whole big toe and had it for over 10 years. It kept spreading too so it was like fighting a losing battle. But now it's gone!! So keep fighting it girl. Get the chiroppdist to freeze the hell out of it, wait for it to heal then soak in ACV. It's a painful process but it's worth it because it works.
Keep me updated
