VINEGAR, VINEGAR AND MORE VINEGAR!!! You don't need to pay money to get rid of these things!! Listen up people, if you want to see quicker results just use vinegar to get rid of your awful warts or veruca/s!! Get either white wine vinear or apple cider vinegar, cotton wool balls and some duck tape. Break the cotton wool into smaller pieces (slightly larger than the veruca or wart itself) Soak these cotton wool pieces in vinegar and place directly over the veruca/s. Secure in place over night with plenty of duck tape. Do this every night. In the morning, remove the tape and shower as usual. Let the area dry up during the day and leave alone. After only a few days you will feel slight tenderness in the veruca area and you will notice that it changes colour, becoming darker. I think that this is because the veruca has absorbed the vinegar and the flesh is decaying and drying up. This is the only thing that has helped me with mine. Don't waste money on over the counter products-its a waste!! Don't have them cut out or frozen or lazered-off until youhave tried this for at least 2 weeks. I'm pretty sure this will be the most effective thing you've tried! And easy and natural and cheap. Try it!! Good luck!!! xoxox :ok:

i must say i forgot about it for almost a week and by then the skin looked like it had healed up. it wasn't until i started with the vinegar that i realized i still had the black bits under the skin, which must have come back.
im rather impatient, and i hate pain so i wanted to know from people who have had success with this how long it takes. and if they used a file on theirs? am i doing this treatment right?
i just seems like im getting no where, there's noting i can do with them when they're really tender as everything hurts too much
how do they finally go? is it through using a file/cutting the black bits out? or does it dry up and go on its own??

I'm going to give it a try. My wife is actually a big believer in alternative remedies and hates going to doctors. So hopefully I'll have some good news for her after trying the vinegar for a few days.

The black bits are getting less, but when I file away every few days the skin is white and hard underneath.
Does that mean the root is still there? I'm not totally sure what I'm looking for really!

I've been on it now for about 4 weeks and really hoped it would be all clear now but guess not...
Is there anything else I should be doing?

Then I found this thread and have been trying Aspall Cyder Vinegar on a bit of cotton wool, duct taped to my finger 24/7 since 5 days ago. I change the dressing twice a day.
The result is the following photo: http://goo.gl/zH4Jfv
Does it look like it's working please?

I think the wart has now gone! Should I continue to use vinegar and duct tape after it's dried out a little? Or leave it a few days?

We'll I have continued with the vinegar every night after having a shower, then taking it off in the morning and getting on with my day.. I don't file it every night, maybe once every 3.. Last night I filed away the few black dots I had, and again there was this white hard patch, almost like a painful pin head that won't budge..
I left the vinegar off last night as I find if I put it on after filing the pAin is horrendous.
The skin seemed a lot clearer today but back on the vinegar again tonight, just wish this hard patch would shift, as I'm hoping this is the root!
