VINEGAR, VINEGAR AND MORE VINEGAR!!! You don't need to pay money to get rid of these things!! Listen up people, if you want to see quicker results just use vinegar to get rid of your awful warts or veruca/s!! Get either white wine vinear or apple cider vinegar, cotton wool balls and some duck tape. Break the cotton wool into smaller pieces (slightly larger than the veruca or wart itself) Soak these cotton wool pieces in vinegar and place directly over the veruca/s. Secure in place over night with plenty of duck tape. Do this every night. In the morning, remove the tape and shower as usual. Let the area dry up during the day and leave alone. After only a few days you will feel slight tenderness in the veruca area and you will notice that it changes colour, becoming darker. I think that this is because the veruca has absorbed the vinegar and the flesh is decaying and drying up. This is the only thing that has helped me with mine. Don't waste money on over the counter products-its a waste!! Don't have them cut out or frozen or lazered-off until youhave tried this for at least 2 weeks. I'm pretty sure this will be the most effective thing you've tried! And easy and natural and cheap. Try it!! Good luck!!! xoxox :ok:

Thanks for that. Maybe worth a try. After a little success and not having to wear duck tape on them all day (which comes off) I really can't face going back to fiiling and applying Bazuka all the time. I have to file for about two hours at a time - it takes forever!

Thanks for this. The only thing is, I don't know which skin is unaffected due to the nature of mosaic verrucae.

yes, I've had a wart since 5/2018. i tried the over the counter freezing only made the wart bigger. i tried pine pitch made it smaller but didn't continue because a friend told me of another kind of freezing application didn't work. then in November bought some extra strength aspirin made a paste with some apple cider as of Dec. 26,2018 the wart turned black. On The 28th the core came out after i debrided with extra grit sand paper. from other site got better results to my query about after treatment of said dead wart to continue 1 to 2 weeks to make sure it was truly dead.
hope this helps someone else

hi,
when you made the paste from the aspirin and vinegar, did you leave it on overnight and did you cover it with a plaster?

hi, Marie
yes then in the morning i looked at it and debrided it. then put some more paste on it. the aspirin i crushed in a mortor and pestle. I put the crushed aspirin in a container i used a tea light foil bottom .ended up using plastic at the end the vinegar ate holes in it. and added the cider vinegar a little at a time with an eyedropper. did this every day. on my days off did it every 2 to 3 hrs. when i worked did it in the morning and before i went to bed. if the paste isnt in a closed container which i dont have. it hardens. i just added a few drops and stirred it with a toothpick until it was pastey. just so you know add a thin coating of vaseline around the skin of the wart but not touching it because it will eat your skin get your bandaid ready before you add the paste to where your wart is. mine is on the side of my finger. hope this helps. good luck

Morning All. Soooooo about a year ago i posted on here. I explained i had a wart on the inside of my second toe, it was roughly the size of a 5p coin, quite large. i also had a few on the inside of my wrist. To say i hated it was a understatment. Like us all i researched loads and went for the vinegar route, it worked but the wart grew back and i had some really really painfull experiences. I went back to my GP and he said try this, its called Salactol. I then went to my pharmacy and she said no need for perscription as its over the counter and cheaper. (£4) if i remember correctly. The results have been amazing, my wart cleared up within 3-4 weeks. Even my wrists have cleared. I cannot promote the stuff enough. Like most i bought so many over the counter and very expensive products. But honestly people, before you waste money on anything else try Salactol. If anyone else has questions please let me know and ill be happy to answer. Last summer was horrible, i hated wearing flip flops, swimming, anything exposing my feet. But now i cant wait, i really dont want this to sound like a sales pitch as it may not work for all but for £4 go for it. I would of payed £4000 to get rid my self confidence was that low. Any way hope this helps.

Hi everyone,
I may try the Salactol you mention as I am fed up of being on the last stages of my very persistent mosaic verrucae. I have been using vinegar since July and I am always to being rid of them altogether that I can't believe the difference cider vinegar has made after years of no effect with other treatments. However, it never quite fully goes and starts to return if I leave uncovered. Will let you know if I ever completely get rid of these blasted things!

Howdy all...zombie thread but i was wondering if any previous posters have success stories and good advice! Having read all 400 posts i gave ACV a go - im on day 8 of cotton ball on 24hrs a day and maaaaan it hurts! i might give myself aday off tomorrow. anyway, each evening i grate the top flaky bit off my verruca between applications and ive just developed tiny black dots. should i carry on grating? Or leave until the whole thing goes black? And wil it just fall out, or should i help it on its way?! hope this is over soon its a total killer!

my daughter had a cluster of 11. I soaked cotton in ACV and taped to her foot every night for a week and filed every morning. once day i took off and the her verrucas were bleeding (the acid must have burnt thru) at this point i stopped , the skin broke ans has now all healed and the verrucas have gone. when she said it was stinging i would dab ACV on ans not tape cotton to her foot. maybe give yourself the night off but keep going with the ACV and filing it really does work! ill try and post a pic too

hi,
i tried the acv and it ate my skin. then i tried crushed up asprin and wet it with acv to make a paste. i used heavy grit sandpaper to debride my wart. it was on the side of my middle finger. i did this twice a day. this took a month. to make sure it was truely dead i did it for another week. i also put vaseline around the skin of the wart so only the wart got eaten. this is the only thing that worked for me. i tried the freezing and it only made it bigger.

be careful about filing. Ive been at this two years and have stopped filing all together as i believe it leads to spreading. you deffinatly need to remove dead stuff but i have learned to do it this out disturbing healthy tissue. I am so envious of your overall healthy feet and hope to soon have healthy feet again soon.
pardon the spelling and punc . IPad not happy

Make sure when you are applying the ACV that its just in contact with the verruca. This happened to me so if it hurt I would put sudocrem around the verruca then put ACV on a small piece of cotton pad the same size as the verruca and cover it. It got really bad there was a point where i thought it would never go away then one morning it came off and it was new skin underneath so dont give up!! I Did give up on the filing though maybe only did it once or twice a week.
