1,000 MG SERTRALINE

Posted , 5 users are following.

i have been taking a host of pills tramadol zopliclone sertraline to name but a few 14 a day all told for around twenty years or more now

and i have to say that i have very bad bouts of deppresion the doctor recently told me i could take 300 mg of sertraline a day but to be honeset this is not enough as i still have bad thought s and harm myself and it is getting increasingly worse but they dont really seem to want to change it for anything different or stronger dont know why ?

but i have took 1,000 mg of sertraline before and to be honest it very nearly killed me i think if i had taken anothe thousand mg it sounds a lot but really it is only twenty tablets so not alot really anyway two thousand mg would have done for me i am sue=re so it is a bit worrying

so if you do take them by accident and it can happen mine was belive it or not i just kept taking them till i felt a bit less suicidle that was all

Hi Cameron.   I really think you need to talk to a councillor to talk through what is causing your feelings. Please take care.

Hi Cameron...sorry to hear how you are feeling.  Can I just ask if it is the same doctor you have been going to all this time?  If so have you thought of trying a different doc who may have a different approach and might be prepared to try something different.  It's obvious that all these tablets u are taking are not working for you ...please take care of yourself as  there is help out there for you so you don't have to live this way with these awful feelings.  I too think you should enquire about seeing a counsellor..you need to talk to a professional about how u are feeling like this & they will help you try to get to the bottom of it. Best wishes & take care.

First of all well done for being so honest and sharing with the forum. I hope you can see from our concern that you need to seek further help on this. I think a counsellor is a great idea, although it won't be an overnight fix it will help be a slow burn solution to beginning to help you feel better. I totally agree with everyone when they say that a fresh pair of eyes on a medication review could help. It takes a lot of courage to speak out and that shows a strength to being able to do this. You can get better with the correct help and It sounds like you aren't getting this from your current GP. Really hope you get the help you need and wish you all the best in feeling better soon. Its hard but so worth it in the end, there are better days ahead x
