1 week away from walkinh

I’m exactly one week away from walking ( broken in 3 places and dislocation about 8 - 9 weeks ago )

with no boot but still don’t have full range of motion with my ankle ... is this normal ?

I can pull it upward fine but pushing it down it won’t go all the way down into a full point position

Yes it’s normal because you may have had fusion done and screws put into stabilize.

i would check with your doctor to ask what range of motion is expected.  It could be that is close to all the rom you are going to get and will need to learn to walk different ly.

i highly suggest ordering a pro foot leveler from Amazon for your good foot. It is pretty difficult to walk and balance with the clunky high boot and it’d heel.. l

Hello Christina, Yes it is normal but do you go to physical therapy or you doing the rom excercises on your own. He rom of motion is a long process and you have to work constantly on it...
