Is it normal to feel pain on incision after 1 year of having surgery on ankle? It's a weird numbness feeling and tingly and a little tingly and numbness on top of foot and small toe. Is this nerve damage/scar tissue?

Hi Lynn, It sounds like you might have some nerve damage. It's not abnormal but you should tell your surgeon and see if they have any suggestions for you.

Hello, I am 14 months after surgery and experience regularly similar sensations to the ones you describe. In my case it is more numbness than pain.and it is always on the top of my foot and on two toes.

My guess is that it is to do either with some nerve damage or small tendons not working properly or...both.
