1-Year of Unexplained Eye Problems

A little background: I'm a 35-year-old male with no underlying health conditions. I don't smoke, I only drink socially, and have an average BMI. I have 20/20 vision.

For the past year I have had daily eye right eye pain that's only alleviated by 600mg of ibuprofen. I can only describe it as an aching feeling at the top left (nearest the nose bridge) of my eye. The thought is it's inflammation, but it's a mystery as to what's causing it.

I have had an MRI, sinus CT, blood tests, increased my B12, seen 3 optometrists and I've even had a steroid injection. All scans are clear, examinations are fine, and the steroid injection helped only briefly.

I'm just wondering if there's anyone out there with something similar now or in the past. It's nerve wrecking to constantly be in pain at some point each day. It's even worse when each doctor can only say, "your eyes are perfect" and offer nothing beyond that.

Im not sure what you have going on but my recommendation would be to see an ophthalmologist and if they cant help then have them refer you to a neuro ophthalmologist. Bests of Luck!
