Hi Susan, I'm 10 weeks post op today and so far so good, touch wood!

I find that I'm a little creaky and stiff when getting up after sitting for a while and a little achey most evenings, but my mobility is excellent. I'm pretty much carrying on as normal with very few restrictions. I could perhaps do my exercises more though. 😳

Good to hear that you feel you're over the worse. 😊

Hi Susan- I was 11 weeks post op on Tuesday.  Have been back to work for 2 weeks.  Things are going great!  Walk everyday on my break.  Everyone is amazed to see me be able to walk again without a limp. One bad thing though, is the sleep. Haven't had a really good nights sleep since the operation.   I still wake several times during the night.  It's not because of pain, because I don't have any pain.  I just can't stay asleep.  I've read that this is normal and will pass.  It just isn't passing soon enough for me though.  We've made it through the worst part. Hang in there, it will keep getting better!  smile

I'm 10 weeks tomorrow... and finally going out without a stick seems 'normal' to me, as long as i only expect to go short distances.  I have done up to one mile so far - and looking to return to work 1st April.

Nights are getting better now, and I am finding that I now prefer sleeping on my back !!!!!

Silly boy, it's 10 weeks today - the end of my Groundhog day, as I had my failed revision surgery at the 10 week point after the first surgery.

    Hi Susan,

You are doing great !!!  stiffness and occcasional pain and discomfort can be expected.

You have come a long way and will challenge yourself now and again and perhaps overdo it a little - well, that is how I explain my soreness -

Keep doing  what and how you are doing darling !!!

    big warm hug
