Hi, I was on citalopram for 15 years came off it last summer as felt didn't need it any more last couple months my mood has dropped really didn't want to go back on antidepressants but had to give in I was put on sertraline 50mg as had really bad sweats with citalopram.

First week didn't want to get out of bed kept crying , sick dizzy , head aches and bad anxiety through day . I'm now on my second week anxiety is now always round same time of night between 6-7 carries on till I fall asleep I should say iv had no trouble with sleeping since been on them .

This afternoon was first time I actually felt a bit normal although still tearfull and headache , I got up and started tea which Is a big thing after how iv felt the last 10 days I know it's only one afternoon but I'm hopeing things are taking a turn for the better just got to take one day at a time , my partner and children have been so good and really supportive and iv found this page really helpfull .

I take my tablet round bout 6-7 every morning Im wondering if I should take it at night to help with headaches and anxiety any help I would be grateful 😄

Well done Marie, you're doing ok after only 10 days as it can sometimes take weeks before others feel they are a bit better.

I take my tabs of an evening (around 9pm) as I find that works for me but we're all different.... you may need to try taking them later to see if it helps.

    Stay strong and positive 😃

I'm only new to it I hate it but going to persevere I'd take it at 8-9 seems like it's running out for you after tea time just a thought x

Hi there. I too was on citalopram then sertraline. I've recently stopped them too. I don't know if it will help but my doc advised me to take before bed. I never had any symptoms when I started on sertraline. Didn't know if they were helping then one day I just realised I didn't feel so anxious & sad so they did work. Hope this helps & good luck.
