hi guys,
all going well for 10 days I reckon & clips coming out in 4 days time. Walking going well,.
Wound & swelling down to my knee is still pretty bad & stiff but I read this can be the case for a few weeks.
Can anyone please just put my mind at rest about this, I suppose it is after all still early days

Hi bob, yep all normal at 10 days, still early on in recovery. You may experience swelling for any number of weeks or even months in some cases, some report next to no swelling, neither of mine swelled only during the hot weather back in late June, also no bruising with the latest one. Ice is your friend for swelling though and I used the freezer picnic blocks wrapped in a towel, they seem to stay frozen longer. Keep up the exercise and

cheers, thats what I thought. I had my other one done 7 years ago but just cant remember if it happened then...think it did.
Onwards & upwards then & I'll discuss it with the physio on Thursday.
